This Love

     The teacher from Nazareth was asked this question by his students, “How will we know when we have loved enough?”  The answer they received was this:  “You don’t ever stop loving; Ever.”  This Love was the cornerstone of His teachings.

     This Love gave Harriet Tubman the courage to successfully run the Underground Railroad that led thousands of people to freedom.  This love filled Oskar Schindler’s heart with the compassion needed to save thousands of Jewish people from the Nazi gas chambers.  This Love enabled Gandhi to show the world how to “be the change you wish to see.”  This Love inspired the mission of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  It was woven into every march he led and every speech he gave.  Berlin’s wall crumbled under the force of this Love.  This Love I coursed through the healing hands of Mother Teresa from Calcutta.  She recognized Love’s flame behind the perceived physical disease of others.  This Love lives, breathes, laughs in, as and through the Dali Lama.  He knows any physical attachment has the potential to overshadow this Love.

      This Love wrote a masterpiece called, The Science of Mind.  As a result, Ernest Holmes set into motion what is known around the world as a “philosophy, a faith and a way of life.”   This Love started a Science of Mind Study Group in Louisville, Kentucky.  This Love opened the door and ushered in the Louisville Center for Spiritual Living.  This Love created and ordained a Minister.  This Love, through the tip of a ballpoint pen, gives a sense of purpose to someone who once had no direction in his life, whatsoever.

     Ladies and gentlemen, fastened your seatbelts; this train called LCSL is right on track and picking up speed every day, fueled by this Love!
